Robbie's smart, tough, light road wheels. XTR and White Industries on Hplusson Archetype.
Robbie used us recently to rebuild his MTB wheels, and he liked them so much he immediately asked us to build some road wheels. He handed over a new XTR hub that he'd been given, and asked us to use it for the front wheel. We matched the beautiful hub with an equally gorgeous White Industries T11 in polished silver. A tough, light and strong solution that matches the XTR well. The XTR hub was 32h, and in order to save weight we used Ritchey Logic Competition super light spokes (laced 2x) and Sapim alloy nipples. On the rear, to ensure...
Stuart's Roval Carbon 29er wheel rebuild - better and stiffer than before ...

Usually in order to save cost, or simply to achieve light weight for the "Internet arms race"*. Stuart was riding around his back yard on his 2 year old Roval Control SL carbon XC wheels when all of a sudden three spokes broke simultaneously. He was seriously unhappy, as he felt the bike had never been ridden hard, nor very often. He came to us to rebuild the wheels, and relayed stories of replacing corroded nipples, and unhelpful shops who simply encouraged him...
Another smart Nextie and XLR8 build - light and stiff!
Aero Carbon Classic Gravel Nextie Sapim Tubeless XLR8 Hubs
Paul's Nextie Aero Road Wheels using XLR8 MD hubs for a super light solution.
Aero Carbon DT Swiss Nextie Sapim TT and Triathlon Tubeless
Paul is local rider who excels in the hills. He's very light and climbs like a "mountain goat". After hearing about our wheels from other riders in his training group, he approached us to help him with some aero hoops. As with many pure climbers, their power to weight ratio may be strong, but their power to frontal area (aero coefficient) may not be as high. They can suffer on the flats and in headwinds. This often explains why the big guys can mash on the flats (high power to frontal area), but suffer in the hills (low power to...
