You might remember Andy had us build an awesome set of yellow and gold Nextie wheels with Project 321 hubs. Well, John is a member of his family, and once he saw Andy's wheels, he needed just the same, except this time in blue!  

Rob wanted two pairs of wheels for his touring and commuting bikes. Both needed dynamo hubs on the front, and he wanted utmost reliability for the rear hub. Ideally standard ball bearings and cones, and a steel freehub. The Shutter Precision PD-8 hub fit the dynamo need perfectly. They are inexpensive, robust, and work well. Andy's Yeti SB5.5 needed a new wheelset. The spec wheelset was proving to be a little underwhelming, and Andy wanted more width, and lower weight. Better hub reliability and longevity would be a bonus if possible. We discussed all aspects of the built with him - including his weight, riding style, trails ridden and potential tyre choices.
