Vu has just picked up a new Cervelo S3, and needed a new set of wheels to do his new ride justice, and stand out from the crowd.
He liked the “Mango” colour of a well known hub manufacturer (also well known for their headsets), and whilst their product is nice, it’s more complicated than it needs to be, and needs more maintenance as a result.
White Industries offer their T11 hubs in a myriad of colours, and their Gold anodised hubs are a beautiful thing to behold. The Titanium freehub lasts forever, and they are light and easy to maintain.
Vu wanted stiffness and ultimate reliability from a light set of hoops, so we selected a 24h front and 28h rear T11 hubset, matched to a pair of Hplusson Archetypes in the every popular Grey Ano.
The Grey Ano looks greats with the dark matte decals, and as you know, build up beautifully.
As is most often the case, we used Sapim Race double butted spokes, and brass nipples to round out a killer package.
