Jonas has a few sets of wheels from us now, and with a new bike on the way, he sought our services to lace some hubs into some carbon rims he had sourced from Asia.

We recommended the Hope Pro4 hubset for their good pricing, convertibility and ease of maintenance, and bling factor.
In order to ensure ultimate dependability, we laced these hubs into his supplied carbon 41mm wide 27.5″ rims with Sapim Race spokes (except on the rear driveside, where plain gauge Sapim Leader spokes ensure a reduction in lateral flex) and black brass nipples.
The resulting wheels are stiff, stout and surprisingly light. All in the all, the cost stacks up very reasonably as well. A win all round!
