Carl found us on the internet, searching for someone to build his dream wheelset. Like us, he was impressed with the depth and weight of the AForce AL33 rims, and was keen to try them out as an all purpose wheelset for riding on Sydney's North Shore.
These rims are a good option if you want some aero depth, tubeless capability, and aren't super heavy.
We laced these up to the White Industries T11 hubs with Sapim D-Light spokes on the front wheel and the rear non driveside, and slightly heavier gauge Race spokes on the rear driveside to ensure more equal lateral stiffness characteristics.
We used Sapim Polyax alloy nipples to save a little extra weight where it counts, at the rim.
