We specced tried and true tubular carbon hoops from Nextie in 45mm, specifically the NXT45RT. We laced Ben's Powertap into a 32h rear rim, and supplied a Novatec super light front hub for the front 20h rim.
Powertap hubs require a specific lacing pattern to work correctly, so a 2x lacing pattern was used for both sides. The front was laced radially. In both cases Sapim Race black spokes and black brass Polyax nipples were used.
