The H+Sons SL42 is a 42mm deep section alloy rim with a welded joint, unparalleled stiffness and incredible radial strength. An added bonus is the considerable aerodynamic efficiency of the rim – they are fast through the air, without being so deep that they are hard to handle in crosswinds.
We mentioned the finish of H+Sons rims. The SL42 is available in satin black (pictured), polished alloy, and satin anodized alloy. These can be ordered from 20 hole up to 36 hole drilling – so can be built into time trial wheels (lower spoke counts) or super stiff gear masher sprint wheels, that are completely unbreakable (higher spoke counts).
Of course, there is the added bonus that the satin black looks just like unidirectional carbon from a distance!
