The new XLR8 Rouleur rims are here for the road. These are a black anodised 700c rim, with a machined brake track, and (importantly) 24mm wide!
We’ve been riding these on a cyclocross bike for a while now, and they are proving to be incredibly stiff and reliable.
The weight is a great, and builds hoops with exceptional stiffness, and a comfortable ride.
We compare these to the more expensive H+Sons Archetype (which are a similar weight, but beautifully finished, and available in more drillings), and Velocity A23 (slightly lighter, harder to source, tubeless ready, but not finished as nicely).
However, the price cannot be ignored. Exceptional value.
